Commercial photography for print advertising
Printed ads in magazines, brochures, on posters and in newsletters is still considered a powerful medium for getting your message across regarding your product, brand or service. Highly innovative print advertising campaigns can have a far reaching impact than digital ad campaigns.
Does print advertising still work?
Readers of internet content are inundated with so much information across the Net in such a short amount of time, they become ad blind and your digital ad is quickly forgotten. Print advertising is a more memorable medium and will stick with the reader better than online ads.
Viral videos for digital media are highly effective for online advertising and when used in conjunction with the art of printed ads, can reach a vast audience across a wide scope of the advertising market while leaving a lasting impact on your reader.
My photography services to you
I have been creatively photographing client’s products and services designed for both online advertising in the form of viral videos as well as in print media campaigns with great success. By liaising with the client as to what audience they are looking to reach and in what capacity they would like their advertising campaign to cover, I have creatively photographed and edited a range of advertising images for the client to use in both digital and print mediums. From the same photoshoot, I have created a viral video creatively utilising the still images in a slideshow and adding text captions and music. Good photography goes a long way to contributing to good sales. By utilizing my experience in automotive photography and knowledge of multiple lighting, I can make the seemingly ordinary look extraordinary! Below is an example of a photoshoot I did with a number of new vehicles to be advertised in a highly competitive market for Hino Geelong. I sourced a suitable location nearby for the vehicles to be driven to, arranged the position of the vehicles, set up my lighting and photographed them. This was all completed within an hour. The client received around 50 images for their use on both digital media as well as for their advertising requirements. By liaisoning with the company before the shoot, I knew exactly what type and style of images they were after and was able to deliver a file of both lo-res images and hi-res images to them within a number of days.

Performax Geelong demand that their imported vehicles stand out from the crowd when advertising. These top of the market recreational vehicles need to be photographed in a suitable setting while also standing out from the backdrop. With an arsenal of locations on hand in my memory bank from years of experience in the field of automotive photography, I was able to decide on a suitable place the first time without running the vehicles, the drivers and the client around thus saving them precious time and fuel. With the use of my lighting equipment and experience, I successfully captured the presence and allurement of these recreational haulers for future advertising purposes.
